TONERTEX FOILING PEN

"I cant get the pen to write nothings coming out"

There could be a couple of reasons. Try increasing the pressure by:
1.Point the nib down and replace and remove the lid a few times.
2.Then press the nib down on a scrap of paper, until the adhesive flows out. Repeat if needed or you want a heavier flow.

"The pen is leaking"

This is caused if the pen is not firmly closed and stored with the nib faceing down. The pen must be closed till you hear a click. To remedy, wipe the pen and clean the lid thouroughly with a spirit solution and cotton bud or use a lid from another of our pens. If dried glue is not completely removed from the inside of the lid-the pen will not flow properly.

"How should i store the pen after each use?"

It doesnt matter, so long as the lid is CLICKED on. Even if it's left without the lid, no harm will come.

"The foil is not pulling away perfectly and leaving bits behind"

This happens with multi-colored holographic foil-it has a heavier coating. It is easily remedied by dabbing with putty products meant for putting posters on walls.

"The hologram gold foil is sticking and pulling off the glue"

The pigment in this color likes the glue to be 110% dry and press harder than usual. Peel back slowly.

"I get airbubbles intermittently as i write"

This is caused by putting the pen down on your table when pausing. For best results keep the pen upright during use and when you take a break place the pen in a stand. The best thing to use for the stand is a cotton reel.

"I can't get the pen to flow properly-i keep getting blobs"

The pen has too high a pressure, normally from repeated removal and replacement of the lid. To reduce the flow point the pen upwards and remove the lid. Then hold the nib in the up position, and press against the dimple in the base of the pen lid unitl the adhesive bubbles out. Wipe excess away with a tissue. The pen should be much finer now. To create the perfect flow, increase the flow once more as it tells you above in the "i cant get my pen to write" section
